Just found out my uncle passed away from pancreatic cancer today. I’m so sad. He was such a funny man and always made me smile. I’m going to miss him so much.

That feeling when you’re on the verge of giving up. You close yourself off to people that care about you. You tend to say things you don’t mean, and regret later on. You ignore texts. You let the phone ring. You tell people to leave you alone, but all you’re really looking for is reassurance and someone to say “I’ll keep fighting for you”. Everyone’s been through that. I know I have. And what sucks is that it’s not something you have control over. It just happens.
Every once in a while you find someone who really will keep fighting for you. Hold onto that person. They’re a best friend.
